Next up is Mount Vernon Nazarene at home at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 before traveling to Goshen Jan. 21.
The Lady Knights (17-3, 7-1) defeated Grace 68-29 Jan. 11 and Huntington 98-49 Jan. 14. Roncalli’s Kellie Kirkhoff scored 13 points and had 6 assists against Grace. She scored a team-high 15 in the win over Huntington.
The team entertains Mount Vernon Nazarene at 7 p.m. today and ventures to Goshen Saturday.
UIndy’s women’s team (10-6, 4-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference) split a pair of games last week, defeating Missouri S&T 77-55 Jan. 12 and losing 76-74 Jan. 14 to a tough Drury squad (15-2, 7-0). Nicole Anderson, Sarah Costello and Jordan Cole scored 20, 19 and 17 points, respectively, against Missouri S&T.
The Lady Hounds are on the road Jan. 19 against McKendree (Ill.) and Jan. 21 against Illinois Springfield, as is the men’s team (7-7, 4-2), which won both of its games last week: 114-83 over Missouri S&T and 87-66 over Drury.
UIndy’s Eric Davidson led all scorers in the Missouri S&T game with 32 points, including 8-of-10 3-pointers, and the Greyhounds set a single-game record by making 20 trifectas. Amazingly, he duplicated those figures in the Drury game.
