With the purchase of six new pickup trucks and six new snow plow blades, the Beech Grove Department of Public Works is prepared to maintain the city’s residential streets when snow and ice come.
The department has also added additional spreaders so that more pretreatment of roads can be done quicker and more efficiently.
Our salt barn is full, and with our agreement with Cargill, we will not encounter any shortages.
We will not plow any snow or engage our subcontractors to focus on local neighborhood roads until we have received 2 inches.
Thank you in advance to our DPW crews for all of the good work that they do throughout the year.
Dennis B. Buckley
Mayor of Beech Grove
