SUBMITTED PHOTO Delta Theta Tau’s Karen Lackey (second from right) recently stopped by the Better Indy Babies pantry at University Heights United Methodist Church to present a $1,000 check to Amie Walls (right), who runs the facility. The pantry carries diapers, clothing and other necessities for babies. Along with the check, Lackey donated 12 quilts that she made. She has made nearly 300 quilts for the pantry over the past five years. The other ladies are Linda Truth (left) and Mandy Moss, who were referred to the pantry by HealthNet Community Health Centers.
