SUBMITTED PHOTO Perry Meridian senior Za Tluang (second from left) has been named an Act Six scholar and will receive a four-year full-need, full-tuition scholarship to Taylor University. Leaders of the initiative say they believe that emerging urban leaders – given the right opportunity and support – can combine their natural gifts and passion with a college education to create a new kind of bold visionary leadership that will transform campuses, cities and the future. Act Six rewards students who are passionate about learning, eager to foster intercultural relationships, willing to step out of their comfort zones and committed to serving those around them. Tluang is seen with Perry Meridian Principal Rolland Abraham, Act Six Indianapolis Director Ryan London and guidance counselor Andy Cottingham.
