Perry Meridian High School’s marching Falcons didn’t allow a week of hot weather to keep their band camp from being successful.
The band practiced from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. and spent part of that time to rehearse the opening number that it will perform at games and competitions later this year. Members took a break from the heat in the evenings to play games, swim, dance and compete in a talent contest. The band ended the week with a performance of their opening number for their families.
