Registration for Special Olympics Basketball Players
Special Olympics Johnson County is registering basketball players who suffer from an intellectual disability. The competition is for ages 8 and up. Program Offers Info on Culture, Cuisine of Burma
As part of the annual Indianapolis Spirit & Place Festival, the University of Indianapolis will host “Engaging & Celebrating the Burmese of Central Indiana” from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Schwitzer Student Center, 1400 E. Hanna Ave. Those attending will have the opportunity to learn about the culture and cuisine of Burma while hearing about the challenges faced by Burmese refugees.
