Edwards Drive-In, 2126 S. Sherman Drive, will celebrate its 60th anniversary Friday. The occasion will be marked by 60 cent coneys all day long, a cruise-in from 5-8 p.m. and rollback prices from 6-8 p.m. There will also be drawings for prizes, a 1950s impersonator, face painting and free Edi logo Frisbees – while supplies last – with the purchase of a sandwich.
Corvette Show
The South Central Indiana Corvette Club will host its annual Corvette show Saturday at Hubler Chevrolet, 8220 S. U.S. 31. Registration runs from 9 a.m.-noon, and the first 100 cars will receive commemorative dash plaques. Proceeds will benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Church Will Give Away Baked Goods

Bake and Rummage Sale
St. Mary Orthodox Church, 102 E. Broadway St., Greenwood, will hold a bake and rummage sale from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. American and ethnic sandwiches will be available.
Farmers Market Is Open Saturday Mornings
The Greenwood Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m.-noon every Saturday in the parking lot of Greenwood United Methodist Church, 525 N. Madison Ave., where numerous vendors sell their merchandise.
Southport Class of 1972 Reunion
Southport High School’s Class of 1972 will hold its 45-year reunion Friday-Saturday, Oct. 6-8. Festivities begin Oct. 6 with a social at Jake’s Pub, 1280 W. Southport Road. A tour of the school will be offered at 10 a.m. Oct. 7, followed by a pitch-in dinner at 3 p.m. at the home of Kathy Kopetsky-Howard, 8355 Hadley Road, Camby.
