Libraries, License Branches Will Close for Holiday
With the exception of InfoZone (open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.) in The Children’s Museum, 3000 N. Meridian St., all Indianapolis Public Library locations will be closed Monday in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. All Bureau of Motor Vehicle branches will be closed Saturday through Monday.
Self-defense Program
Pilsung ATA Martial Arts will present a free self-defense program for teenagers at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at Greenwood Library, 310 S. Meridian St. “We want our teens to know how to defend themselves,” librarian Jessica Smith said. “But most importantly we want them to feel safe and confident.
